Jose Mourinho: "We are going to try to win"

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho insists that his side will be going for the win against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Monday night.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has insisted that his side will go for the win against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Monday night.

City have a perfect home record in the Premier League this season, winning all 11 games and scoring 42 goals.

"We are going to try to win knowing perfectly we can lose or draw. Our intention is to try to win," Mourinho told reporters.

"City score goals. Normally, when your approach is very defensive, if you concede a goal you are in trouble.

"Or you have to make changes during the game and you never know how the players adapt to it."

Chelsea sit three points behind City in the Premier League table.
