The entire QPR team could refuse to shake Chelsea skipper John Terry's hand ahead of their FA Cup clash on Saturday.

The entire QPR team could refuse to shake Chelsea skipper John Terry's hand ahead of their FA Cup tie on Saturday afternoon, according to The Mirror.

It is understood that the squad have held a private meeting about the current situation and will make a late decision as to whether they will go ahead with the public gesture of support for Anton Ferdinand.

Emotions are running high ahead of the encounter following alleged racial abuse from Terry towards Ferdinand in October, a claim which the Chelsea skipper denies.

Ferdinand, reportedly sent a bullet yesterday, has told Mark Hughes that he wants to play and has the full backing of the R's squad.

Terry, meanwhile, is due at West London Magistrates on Wednesday.
