Loic Remy strives to impress Jose Mourinho

Chelsea striker Loic Remy says that he must capitalise on Diego Costa's injury and impress manager Jose Mourinho.

Chelsea striker Loic Remy has said that he must capitalise on Diego Costa's injury and prove his worth to manager Jose Mourinho.

The Frenchman has admitted his frustration at having a lack of first-team football since joining Chelsea from Queens Park Rangers.

Remy, 28, has scored seven goals for the Blues this season and will likely lead the line in their London derby against QPR this afteroon.

Speaking to Sky Sports News, Remy said: "It's always good to play with this team because since I signed for Chelsea I was a bit frustrated because Diego was on fire, he scored so many goals for the team so I didn't play much.

"Now the opportunity for me to play is here so I want to take my chance and score goals."

Remy scored the winning goal against Stoke City last weekend.
