Yaya Toure "delighted" with victory over Chelsea

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure describes his side's performance in the 3-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge as one of their best displays of the season.

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has described his side's performance during their 3-0 win over Chelsea this evening as one of their best displays of the season.

Sergio Aguero scored all three goals at Stamford Bridge to fire City up to third in the Premier League table, leapfrogging Arsenal and restoring the four-point gap to fifth-placed Manchester United.

Toure returned to the starting lineup after a spell out through injury and is pleased to be back in the action for the Champions League semi-finalists.

"I think one of our best games of the season because we controlled the game and to play at Stamford Bridge is not easy and we played really well," he told Sky Sports News.

"I was delighted to help teammates because I missed two games and it is always difficult to watch and I am really satisfied for the team today.

"I always want to work hard for this team. We have important games coming and I will do my best where I can."

City will drop back down to fourth if Arsenal beat Crystal Palace in tomorrow's London derby at the Emirates.
