Preview: Chelsea vs. Reading

Chelsea take on Reading at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday. Here, Sports Mole previews the encounter.

Roberto Di Matteo got his permanent stint in charge of Chelsea off to a winning start against Wigan Athletic on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues are back in action on Wednesday night with the recently-promoted Reading visiting Stamford Bridge.

Italian boss Di Matteo has been tipped to make a couple of changes to his starting lineup, with Brazilian midfielder Oscar believed to be in contention to make his full debut.

Oscar's compatriot Ramires may also return to the fold following an illness.

Garath McCleary's impact from the bench against Stoke City at the weekend may earn him a place in the Reading starting lineup, while Jay Tabb may also come into the side.

Chelsea: Cech; Cole, Terry, Luiz, Ivanovic; Mikel, Lampard, Oscar; Hazard, Mata; Torres

Reading: Federici; Gunter, Pearce, Gorkss, Harte; Leigertwood, McAnuff, Guthrie, Tabb, McCleary; Pogrebniak

Sports Mole says: 3-1
