Chelsea's David Luiz starts in the midfield for their encounter with Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.

Brazilian international David Luiz has been included in the Chelsea midfield for this afternoon's encounter with Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.

With Luiz out of the defence, that has given Branislav Ivanovic and Gary Cahill the chance to form a partnership at centre-back.

Elsewhere, Oscar has again not been selected, with Victor Moses preferred in an advanced role.

Meanwhile, visiting Villa will start the match with Christian Benteke as a lone striker.

Chelsea: Cech; Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Cahill, Cole; D Luiz, Lampard; Moses, Mata, Hazard; Torres

Villa: Guzan; Lowton, Baker, Clark, Lichaj; Holman, Westwood, Bannan, Herd, Weimann; Benteke
