Chelsea will make a decision this week on whether or not they are willing to sell Armando Broja in January, according to a report, with Southampton interested.

Chelsea are set to make a decision on the future of Armando Broja this week, according to a report.

The 20-year-old is currently out on loan with Southampton on a year-long deal, and he has made an impact for the Saints so far this season.

Broja has played 17 times in the Premier League, scoring five times, while he has also found the back of the net twice in the EFL Cup for the club.

According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea will inform Southampton whether or not they are willing to sell the striker within this transfer window.

It is understood that the Saints are interested in making his deal a permanent one; however, there are also a number of other clubs around Europe keeping tabs on his situation.

Southampton would need to pay at least £20m in order to sign him, and it is expected that a buy-back clause would be added, in a similar deal to that of Tino Livramento, if Chelsea decides to sell the striker.
