Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte has suggested that the club are considering a loan move for Charly Musonda.
Earlier this month, Musonda signed a new contract with the Blues and appeared to hint that he wanted to remain at Stamford Bridge in order to fight for a place in the first team.
However, with opportunities continuing to be limited, Conte has hinted that another period away from the West Londoners is a possibility.
The 48-year-old told reporters: "I'm happy for him because it was right to sign a new contract, and the club took the right decision on this. The player the same.
"The player took the right decision to sign a new contract with the club. Then, for his future, the club and the player will take the right decision."
Musonda has not made a first-team appearance for Chelsea since October 25.
