Report: Misfiring Radamel Falcao to quit Chelsea in January

Out-of-favour Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao may cancel his loan spell with the Blues in the forthcoming winter transfer window, according to a report.

Radamel Falcao has reportedly considered the option of leaving Chelsea in January after struggling for an impact early on in his loan from AS Monaco.

The 29-year-old has managed one Premier League goal as the third-choice striker finds himself behind Diego Costa and Loic Remy in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.

Consequently, the Colombian is weighing up the possibility of returning to the Ligue 1 side this winter, according to The Mirror.

Falcao, who managed four league goals during a disappointing loan spell at Manchester United last term, is said to be concerned about losing his place with Colombia.

It is understood that both Chelsea and Monaco would have to agree to terminate the loan agreement in order for the ex-Atletico Madrid hitman to leave.

Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing him.
