Fiorentina have joined the race to sign Chelsea and Manchester City target Daniele De Rossi, according to a report.
Jose Mourinho is said to be a long-term admirer of the Italian international and reports suggested that the Blues were close to wrapping up an £11m deal last month.
With no transfer materialising, The Express now reports that Fiorentina are ready to make an offer for De Rossi, who turned 30 earlier this week.
De Rossi has spent his entire career with Roma and has made 306 appearances in 13 seasons.
