Chelsea defender Michael Hector has edged closer to a loan switch to Hull City, according to reports.
The Blues spent out around £4.5m to sign the 25-year-old from Reading in 2015, but he is yet to make a first-team appearance for the West Londoners.
Hull head coach Leonid Slutsky had earlier this summer revealed that he may use his close relationship with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich to help bring in players.
According to Sky Sports News, Hector is on the verge of making a temporary switch to the KCOM Stadium, which would be the 14th loan of his career should it become official.
Hector, a Jamaica international, spent the 2016-17 season in Germany with Eintracht Frankfurt where he made 27 appearances for the Bundesliga side.
