Paris Saint-Germain want to sign Torino centre-back Bremer during this summer's transfer window, according to a report.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in signing Torino centre-back Bremer during this summer's transfer window.

The 25-year-old's future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks, with a number of clubs believed to be keen to sign him in the upcoming market.

The Brazilian signed a new deal with his Italian club in February, but the agreement only runs until 2024, and he is widely expected to leave ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

Chelsea and Liverpool have both been heavily linked with the South American in recent months, with both sides looking to add at least one centre-back this summer.

However, according to L'Equipe, there is also firm interest from PSG, with the French champions determined to bring him to Paris ahead of next season.

The report claims that the French outfit's sporting director Leonardo has been keeping a close eye on Bremer's situation with the view to making a move this summer.

The defender has made 110 appearances for Torino since his arrival in July 2018, contributing 13 goals and five assists in the process.

This term, Bremer has scored three times and registered one assist in 33 Serie A appearances, with his form in Italy's top flight leading to a host of attention.

Liverpool are well-stocked in the centre-back spots, with Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate and Joel Matip enjoying strong campaigns, but there has been speculation surrounding the future of Joe Gomez, who could potentially leave Anfield in search of pastures new.

Chelsea, meanwhile, will lose Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen on free transfers this summer, with the former heading to Real Madrid and the latter to Barcelona.

There is also speculation surrounding the futures of Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso, meaning that the Blues could be forced to rebuild their defence during the summer market.

Chelsea's plans for the upcoming window remain unclear, though, as their ownership problems mean that they are currently banned for bringing new players to the club.

PSG, meanwhile, have struggled in the middle of their defence this season due to Sergio Ramos's injury problems, and the French outfit are allegedly keen to add another centre-back to boost their squad in the hope of challenging on all fronts during the 2022-23 campaign.
