Paris Saint-Germain reportedly continue to make progress with their bid to sign Porto defender Alex Telles.

Paris Saint-Germain reportedly remain the favourites to sign Porto defender Alex Telles.

While Chelsea have previously been linked with the Brazil international, it has recently been suggested that PSG are making every attempt to secure a deal for the 27-year-old.

Although Telles is regarded as a key man at the Portuguese giants, having just over a year left on his contract means that they will sell the left-back later in 2020.

According to Goal, further progress has been made in negotiations between the relevant parties since the beginning of this week.

Despite talks still being ongoing, the report claims that a deal worth £22m - a valuation lowered due to the coronavirus pandemic - is looking increasingly likely.

Telles has contributed eight goals and five assists from 23 league outings this season.
