Newcastle United reportedly want three new frontmen in the summer as they plan to overhaul their strikeforce.
The Magpies' recognised centre-forwards have contributed just 17 Premier League goals between them this season - 11 of which have been scored by Papiss Cisse.
However, The Chronicle claims that United are willing to listen to offers for Cisse and use the money raised to bolster their striking depth.
Anderlecht's Aleksandar Mitrovic is a target, but the club are largely looking at English goalscorers such as Queens Park Rangers' Charlie Austin and Burnley's Danny Ings, who could be available on a free transfer.
Chelsea youngster Patrick Bamford, who has bagged 17 times in the Championship during a loan spell with North-East rivals Middlesbrough this season, is also believed to be on the radar of those in charge at St James' Park.
Reports have claimed that the Blues will again loan out the England Under-21 international next term, with Southampton, Aston Villa and Everton forming a queue to sign him.
