A report claims that Chelsea forward Pedro is to join Serie A side Roma on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Pedro is close to ending his five-year stay with Chelsea after agreeing personal terms with Roma, according to a report.

The Spanish forward is out of contract at Stamford Bridge in the summer and has been told that he is free to find a new club.

Football.London claims that the 32-year-old, who joined Chelsea from Barcelona in a £21m deal in 2015, is close to officially sealing a switch to Roma.

Pedro is said to have held talks with the Serie A side in April and an agreement was struck on a two-year deal, which will go through at the end of the season.

Major League Soccer side Inter Miami have previously been linked with the Barca academy product, as have La Liga pair Sevilla and Real Betis.
