Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly placed Chelsea forward Patrick Bamford on top of their list of transfer targets.
Bamford, who is currently on loan at Derby County, enjoys a growing reputation within the game following a move to Stamford Bridge from Nottingham Forest in 2012.
Spurs head coach Tim Sherwood is believed to be an admirer and he would be willing to hand Bamford opportunities in the first team if the club can agree a deal with Chelsea, according to The Metro.
The 20-year-old still has over three years remaining on his current deal with Chelsea and it is unclear whether Jose Mourinho would allow such a promising youngster to leave the club.
Bamford has scored five goals in seven appearances since joining Derby in January.
