Chicago Fire earn their third straight victory in MLS with a 2-1 defeat of New England Revolution.

Chicago Fire earned their third straight victory in Major League Soccer on Saturday with a 2-1 victory over New England Revolution at home.

The hosts got off to a flying start at Toyota Park when Chris Rolfe earned himself a penalty and successfully converted it after just five minutes.

However, New England restored parity in the 12th minute through Fernando Cardenas, who poked home a deflected low cross from Saer Sene.

The goals continued to flow in, as Fire regained their one-goal advantage in the 26th minute when Sherjill MacDonald headed in Patrick Nyarko's delivery.

New England struggled to make any impact thereafter and eventually succummbed to a 2-1 defeat.
