Luke Moore close to MLS move?

Former Swansea City striker Luke Moore is close to a move to the MLS with Chivas USA, according to his agent.

Agent Peter Morrison has revealed that striker Luke Moore is closing in on a move to the MLS with Chivas USA.

Moore is a free agent after his release from Turkish side Elazigspor, and while an official announcement is yet to be made, Morrison has indicated that the former Swansea City forward is keen to secure a move to the United States.

Morrison told Sky Sports News: "Luke has never hidden his desire to play abroad, which was the main reason behind his move to Turkey.

"It had seemed that he would be playing back in the United Kingdom again, and a number of clubs were keen, but then this chance came in for him to move to America and that was just too good for him to turn down."

Moore failed to score in 13 appearances during his spell in Turkey.
