Steven Pressley "committed" to changing Coventry City

Steven Pressley reinforces his commitment to Coventry City and says that he is focused on changing the club.

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has revealed that he is determined to change the club's fortunes.

This summer has been a turbulent time for the Sky Blues after they went into administration in March.

A 10-point deduction followed but they have since picked up eight points out of a possible 15.

"I want to give this job my absolute focus and I'm committed to changing the club," Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph.

"And if my wife and kids aren't here then my mind would be on how I could get back up the road to see them and that can't be the case.

"I know in football that supporters want to see instant success but I think for Coventry the club has been in decline over the last 15 years and there needs to be a period of stability when foundations are put in place, and that's what I'm trying to do."

Coventry drew 1-1 with Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.
