Pardew: 'Crystal Palace looking up after beating Queens Park Rangers'

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew says that his side can now start to look above them in the Premier League table following their 3-1 win over QPR.

Alan Pardew has insisted that Crystal Palace will be looking above them in the Premier League table following their win over Queens Park Rangers this weekend.

The Eagles beat their London rivals 3-1 to climb to 12th in the table, eight points clear of the relegation zone and six points off a spot in the top half of the league.

Their manager told the club's official website: "We are nearly safe and where we sit now it would be a long haul for other teams to claw us back but we just need to keep our heads, get ourselves another victory and we will nearly be done.

I have always said to the players here that there are two things in this Premier League, you either look down and start to get anxiety or look up and try and get to the team above and that is we will do.

"We now have a chance to stamp on the division what we are about and if we can do that between now and the end of the season I will be happy."

Palace travel to Stoke City next weekend.
