Former Liverpool winger Ryan Babel is undergoing a medical at Spanish club Deportivo La Coruna.
The 29-year-old, who is a free agent after leaving Al Ain, arrived in Spain on Wednesday night and is currently undergoing a medical examination with Depor, according to the Spanish side's official Twitter page.
The 43-time Netherlands international started his professional career with Ajax, before joining Liverpool, where he spent four years, scoring 22 times in 146 appearances for the Premier League outfit.
Babel has since represented 1899 Hoffenheim, Ajax for a second time and Kasimpasa, before leaving UAE Pro-League side Al Ain following the completion of the 2015-16 campaign.
Deportivo are expected to announce his arrival on Thursday afternoon.
