Doncaster Rovers manager Paul Dickov has said that it would have been wrong not to allow Bury to equalise during their League One match.
Harry Forrester opened the scoring in stoppage time after an attempt to give Bury possession went over the head of goalkeeper Christian Walton and into the net, but Rovers allowed Leon Clarke to equalise.
"I didn't really think twice about allowing them to equalise," Dickov told reporters. "It just wouldn't have been right for us to take three points in the circumstances.
"It was just an unfortunate ending to the game. Harry Forrester hit the ball too sweet and I was just hoping it wouldn't go in.
"When it did we just had to allow them to score because you can't win a game like that."
Doncaster finished last season in 13th place in League One.
