Former Notts County striker Karl Hawley has joined Championship outfit Doncaster Rovers on trial as he attempts to find a new club.
The 28-year-old, who spent a period on loan with Crawley Town last season, was released by County in May following three seasons at the club.
The Englishman reportedly trained with Port Vale at the beginning of June, but it is understood that a dispute over wages scuppered the move.
Hawley has two England C caps to his name.
