Danny Rose was reportedly racially abused during England Under-21s Euro 2013 qualifier in Serbia this evening.
Many have speculated that the left-back was the subject of monkey chanting from the home support throughout the 90 minutes in Krusevac.
It then all came to a head in stoppage time as Connor Wickham scored the goal that guaranteed England's place in next year's tournament. As the England players began to celebrate, Rose was seen arguing with a section of Serbia supporters.
As a result the referee opted to send off the Sunderland defender, which in turn prompted a clash between both sets of players.
Reports from Serbia have since claimed that police are standing guard outside of the England dressing room.
