England women put eight past Turkey

England's women beat Turkey 8-0 to continue their fine goalscoring form under temporary manager Brent Hills.

England's women have continued their goalscoring form under temporary manager Brent Hills, beating Turkey 8-0 this evening.

A hat-trick from Toni Duggan helped the side to another good World Cup qualifier win, after they beat Belarus 6-0 on Saturday.

The Everton striker scored two in the first two minutes to put England in a commanding position, before goals from Ellen White and Eniola Aluko made the game safe.

Aluko and White ended up with two each, with Natasha Dowie getting the final goal.

The hosts could have finished with double figures but temporary manager Hills was happy with the performance, which aided the team's chances of qualifying for Canada 2015.
