Everton boss Marco Silva says that summer signings Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes are unlikely to be ready to make their debuts until the middle of September.

Everton boss Marco Silva has suggested that Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes will not make their debuts until the middle of September.

The Toffees moved to sign the pair from Barcelona during the final hours of the summer transfer window, but both players are yet to come into contention for a place in the squad.

Everton travel to Bournemouth this weekend, but Silva has revealed that the duo are unlikely to see any action until after the international break due to injury.

At a press conference, the Portuguese told reporters: "It looks maybe after the international break they can start working with us.

"We will see next week how they are and after I can give a different update but it is possible after the break."

Everton have registered four points from their opening two fixtures against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton.
