Everton midfielder Allan admits that he would like to stay with Everton for the foreseeable future, hoping to win some trophies with the club.

Everton midfielder Allan has revealed he would like to stay with the club for the future.

The Brazilian originally signed for the Toffees in September 2020 from Napoli, with former boss Carlo Ancelotti being the man who brought him to Goodison Park, and he has been a regular feature since then.

So far this season the 31-year-old has made 18 appearances for Everton, with new manager Frank Lampard having started him in both of the games he has been in charge of so far.

"We get to a certain age, we have to start planning our career. What I have on my mind is to stay a lot longer here at Everton. As long as I can, as long as the club thinks I can add something on the pitch," Allan told ESPN Brazil.

"So what I have on my mind right now is to continue my career in the Premier League. Make good games, good tournaments and God willing, that I can, suddenly, in a little cup like these, we can win something and leave the name written in the history of Everton."

The Toffees will be back in action on Saturday when they face Leeds United.
