Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Garth Crooks backs Everton to finish "fourth or fifth" this season.

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Garth Crooks believes that Everton can secure Champions League football this season.

Crooks, now a pundit with the BBC, also praised Kevin Mirallas, Nikica Jelavic, Steven Pienaar and Leighton Baines for their performances in the 2-2 draw with Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

"Mirallas was excellent again today for Everton. Jelavic was very good. Pienaar and Baines linked up brillaintly. They look worthy of finishing fourth or fifth this season," he reported.

The Toffees currently occupy third spot in the Premier League table.
