Roberto Martinez: 'West Ham United will be at their best'

Everton manager Roberto Martinez insists that he expects West Ham United to be at their best on Saturday afternoon, despite a significant dip in form in 2015.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez believes that West Ham United will provide tough opposition when the two sides meet at Upton Park on Saturday afternoon.

The Hammers have won just two of their last 14 fixtures in the top flight, but despite their loss of form, Martinez has insisted that they will want to end their home campaign on a high.

The 41-year-old told the club's official website: "I know that on their day, West Ham can get that dynamic approach and I do expect that in their last home game of the season, they will be at their very best.

"West Ham are not a team that sit back and defend, which would make it easier to be consistent over 10 months.

"The way that they played earlier on in the season was full of energy and very dynamic, with new players. They had some foreigners who arrived new to the Premier League and sometimes after 20 to 25 games, there can be a dip in performances."

Everton will move into 10th place in the Premier League table if they can pick up three points in East London.
