Everton manager David Moyes has revealed that he hopes that Jack Rodwell can make a quick return to the side.
The midfielder, who has featured little for the Toffees this year due to a recurring hamstring problem, played for the reserves against Bolton Wanderers in midweek.
Despite the recent returns of Leon Osman and Phil Jagielka from injury, Moyes is hoping that the 20-year-old will be available for first-team selection soon.
"Jack at the moment is the one I have more worries about," the Scot told the club's official website. "The others are a little bit further on, but we'll try and get Jack back as quick as we can."
Everton are currently 13th in the Premier League table after Saturday's 1-1 draw at Queens Park Rangers.
