Report: Joachim Low in Everton frame

The Everton manager's job is reportedly interesting Germany boss Joachim Low, who would demand a large transfer kitty before committing to a move to Merseyside.

Germany head coach Joachim Low has reportedly been added to Everton's shortlist of potential new managers.

It is widely expected that the current occupant of the Goodison Park hotseat - Roberto Martinez - will be relieved of his duties at the end of the season.

A number of bosses have already been linked with the post, including Mark Hughes, Eddie Howe and a return for David Moyes.

However, The People claims that Low is also now a shock contender for the position.

The report adds that while Low only recently signed a new contract with the German Football Federation, it does contain a clause that allows him to discuss terms with any interested clubs.

It is believed that the 56-year-old would only consider moving to Merseyside if he was promised the necessary funds to help the Toffees challenge for the Champions League places.
