Everton can claim a nine-match unbeaten run if they clinch a victory over Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.

Everton could increase their eight-match unbeaten run with a home victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

The Merseyside club could welcome back defender Phil Jagielka, who featured in just two games for the Toffees this season before suffering medial knee ligament damage in January.

David Moyes could start the England international on the bench, with Sylvain Distin retaining his spot alongside John Heitinga.

Meanwhile, Harry Redknapp has claimed that Michael Dawson is likely to miss the remainder of the season after suffering an ankle injury during Spurs' 3-1 victory over Stevenage in the FA Cup.

Ledley King and Younes Kaboul could line up in the back four, while Rafael van der Vaart could start after a return from injury.

Current form:

Everton: WWDWWD
Tottenham: DWDLLW

Possible lineups:

Everton: Howard; Baines, Distin, Heitinga, Hibbert; Drenthe, Neville, Fellaini, Osman; Cahill, Stracqualursi

Tottenham: Friedal; Walker, King, Kaboul, Assou-Ekotto; Bale, Parker, Kranjcar, Modric; Van der Vaart, Adebayor

Sports Mole says: 1-1
