Everton are reportedly weighing up a move for former Liverpool midfielder Luis Alberto.
The Spaniard only managed 12 appearances for the Reds during the 2013-14 season but has since made a name for himself in Serie A with Lazio.
The 27-year-old managed four goals and 13 assists in Italy's top flight prior to the coronavirus suspension, and according to Corriere della Sera, Carlo Ancelotti is a keen admirer of the midfielder.
The report also claims that Liverpool would recoup close to a third of any transfer fee due to a 30% sell-on clause in his contract with Lazio, with Alberto's current deal at the Stadio Olimpico set to expire in 2022.
The midfielder has made one appearance for the Spanish national team and has registered 24 goals in 124 games for Lazio across all competitions since his arrival in 2016.
