Paul Tisdale: 'Exeter City changes unlikely for Accrington Stanley trip'

Exeter City chief Paul Tisdale says that he is unwilling to tinker with his starting lineup, having won three games on the spin in all competitions.

Paul Tisdale has revealed that he does not intend to make many alterations to his Exeter City side this weekend.

The Grecians, who take on Accrington Stanley at the Crown Ground, have won three games on the bounce in all competitions.

Tisdale is reluctant to make changes to his in-form side, despite having a fully-fit squad to choose from, which could mean sticking with the same XI for the third time in succession.

"There is plenty to think about going into Saturday's game with Accrington, but the process will be pretty similar to what it was when I chose the starting XI for Hartlepool," he is quoted as saying by Western Morning News.

"It was another good win and all players contributed. So, it is a dilemma with selection, but it is a good one to have when you are winning games. We have got Arron Davies fit for selection and he didn't make the bench on Saturday, albeit he had only been back in training for two days having had 10 days away with injury.

"We have got Jordan Moore-Taylor, who is still waiting for chance. That is around 20 players all pushing for places and that is not taking into consideration the likes of Jamie Reid and Ollie Watkins, who are doing particularly well with the Under-21s team. It is a good situation to have, but I don't see there being too many changes on Saturday."

Exeter are three points off top spot in League Two after losing two of their opening seven fixtures.
