Vincenzo Montella: 'We have to be at our best'

Vincenzo Montella says that Fiorentina must be "very careful" when they take on Dynamo Kiev in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final tie.

Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Montella has said that his side can't afford to make any mistakes in their Europa League quarter-final against Dynamo Kiev on Thursday evening.

The Viola are regarded as the favourites by many to progress to the last four, but they will head into match following heavy defeats against Juventus and Napoli.

"They're a good team, with very talented, very quick players," Football Italia quotes Montella as saying. "Fiorentina will need to be at our best to beat the Ukrainians. They attack very well, and we have to be very careful.

"At this stage of the competition we have to try [to win it]. It won't be easy. The league is still open, however, and everything can change very quickly, we've shown that ourselves.

"As for the game tomorrow, what's important is to make as few mistakes as possible. We can't afford mistakes."

Fiorentina claimed a 3-0 victory over Roma in their last away game in Europe.
