Didier Deschamps has admitted that he is "very satisfied" as his France team confirmed their passage into the last 16 of the World Cup as Group E winners.
Deschamps's side earned the point necessary to top the pool after Les Blues were held to a 0-0 draw with 10-man Ecuador at the Maracana on Wednesday night.
France will now set their sights on Nigeria for Monday's second-round clash in Brasilia, but not before the 45-year-old "savours every moment" from his team's early triumph.
"Ecuador are a very fine side who have a lot of pace up front," he told FIFA.com. "All the same, it's good that we didn't concede.
"I'm overjoyed, thrilled and very satisfied. There's a whole new competition starting now for us. We're going to savour the moment and then focus on Nigeria."
Monday's clash kicks off at 5pm.
