Caretaker manager Peter Grant has said that Fulham need more balance to improve defensively.
The former Under-21s boss feels that Fulham need more organisation after conceding an early goal during their 1-1 draw against Preston North End.
"It is there for everyone to see. We've scored a lot of goals, the most in the division. That tells you the quality we do have," Grant told reporters.
"They have got to show that quality without the ball. They need to be organised at all times. They need to be guided.
"I'm watching certain games and it looks as though we're playing two at the back. They've got to realise we need a balance in the team."
The Lilywhites have recently been linked with a move for Birmingham City manager Gary Rowett.
