Martin Jol has claimed that Bobby Zamora will not be handed a spot in Fulham's first team for every game.
The striker, who has been linked with a move away from Craven Cottage, is available to play for the Cottagers' clash with Manchester United tonight after recovering from a knee injury.
"It would be silly when you've got 21 players to say 'This is my best team'," the Daily Mail quotes Jol as saying. "If you work hard and have a good mentality that's important.
"There have been a lot of other players – [Eidur] Gudjohnsen, [Zoltan] Gera and [Diomansy] Kamara – and I don't think you could say 'That was our strike force'.
"How many times did Bobby play with Andy Johnson in the last three or four years? Six or seven times. Even if you would like to start with a certain forward line you have to change it week by week, almost."
The former FC Twente manager is believed to have an ongoing rift with the frontman.
