Fulham manager Scott Parker will reportedly leave the club this week after a disagreement with the hierarchy, with Bournemouth ready to appoint the Englishman.

Fulham manager Scott Parker will reportedly leave the club this week, amid interest from Bournemouth.

Parker has experienced two full seasons of differing fortunes during his time at the helm, as in his first season in charge he guided the side to Premier League promotion, but he could not secure the club's survival last season.

The 40-year-old has been in talks with the club and it is believed that there has been friction between himself and the Fulham hierarchy over their plans for the future.

According to The Telegraph, Parker's departure by mutual consent could be announced this week and Bournemouth may offer the Englishman a swift return to management.

The Cherries were defeated in the playoff semi-finals last season and need a manager to replace Jonathan Woodgate, and Parker's experience at achieving promotion with Fulham is an attractive factor for Bournemouth.

The former Fulham midfielder oversaw 105 games as manager at Craven Cottage, after being promoted from assistant manager in 2019.
