Jordi Codina certain luck will change

Getafe goalkeeper Jordi Codina remains confident that his side will move away from the La Liga relegation zone.

Getafe goalkeeper Jordi Codina is certain that the capital outfit's fortunes will soon change.

Saturday's goalless draw with Espanyol means that the Madrid-based side have not won in La Liga since the end of November – a run that stretches back 11 league games.

"We go out there every game to win, but on Saturday it wasn't to be," he told reporters.

"We've gone eleven games without winning now and there's times when we have more fortune, others when we have less fortune.

"Someday the win will come though and it has to come soon, because we deserve that."

Getafe currently sit 15th in the table, just four points outside of the bottom three.
