Hamburg ease past Hoffenheim

Hamburg beat Hoffenheim 4-1 in the Bundesliga to win all three points.

Hamburg have seen off the threat of Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga, finishing with a 4-1 win away.

Marcell Jansen put an early chance wide for Hamburg but the opening exchanges were marred by a number of niggly fouls from both teams.

In the 18th minute the deadlock was broken by a Son Heung-Min header following a cross from the right by Dennis Diekmeier.

With 10 minutes of the half to go Hamburg were 2-0 up, this time Son turning provider as he cut across to Dennis Aogo to finish from point-blank range.

The second half burst into life on the hour mark. First Petr Jiracek reacted quickest in the box to fire Hamburg 3-0 ahead, before Kevin Volland pulled a goal back immediately with a well-placed finish.

However, Artjoms Rudnevs made sure of the points for Hamburg with a late goal.
