Tuesday's League One predictions including Shrewsbury Town vs. Huddersfield Town

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's League One fixtures, including Shrewsbury Town vs. Huddersfield Town.

Crawley vs. Wigan (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Crawley Town are set to host Wigan Athletic on Tuesday at Broadfield Stadium in a League One clash that could have significant ramifications on the relegation battle.

The home side are fourth last in 21st place with 28 points and occupy the last of four relegation spots, but Wigan are only three places and six points ahead of them following their 2-0 defeat against Stockport County on Saturday.

We say: Crawley Town 1-1 Wigan Athletic

Wigan's away record is strong while Crawley have not been particularly consistent at home, and the visitors could exploit their hosts' vulnerabilities at Broadfield Stadium.

However, Wigan's form in front of goal has been subpar this campaign, and they may find it difficult to regularly create chances on Tuesday.

Mansfield vs. Lincoln (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Two teams in disappointing form will lock horns in League One on Tuesday night, with Mansfield Town welcoming Lincoln City.

Mansfield are currently 15th in the League One table, boasting 38 points from their opening 30 matches of the campaign, while Lincoln are 13th, two points ahead of their opponents at Field Mill.

We say: Mansfield Town 1-1 Lincoln City

Two of the last three league meetings between these two sides have finished level, and we can see the points being shared on Tuesday night. Both managers would likely accept a point ahead of kickoff, and it could be a cagey affair at Field Mill.

Shrewsbury vs. Huddersfield (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Relegation-threatened Shrewsbury Town are set to host high-flying Huddersfield Town at The Croud Meadow as part of Saturday's League One action.

The Shrews lost 1-0 last time out against Leyton Orient, while the Terriers won on the road to Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday.

We say: Shrewsbury Town 0-3 Huddersfield Town

Despite Shrewsbury's improved form of late, it is difficult to ignore the gulf in quality between the two sides in Saturday's clash.

Additionally, given Huddersfield's defensive strength, it is hard to see the Shrews scoring - even with a potential change in the backline - and the Terriers can be expected to extend their unbeaten streak and pick up another three points this weekend.

Stevenage vs. Burton Albion (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

League One basement side Burton Albion will travel to the Lamex Stadium for Saturday's League One encounter against Stevenage.

The hosts are looking to claim their first win of 2025, while Burton are looking to record a victory for the first time since December 4.

We say: Stevenage 2-1 Burton Albion

Stevenage have won three of their last four matches at the Lamex Stadium, and we think that they will make full use of home advantage again to claim a narrow victory over a Burton side that are low on confidence following an eight-game winless run.

Wycombe vs. Bristol Rovers (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

High-flying Wycombe Wanderers will be bidding to return to winning ways in League One when they continue their campaign with a home fixture against Bristol Rovers on Tuesday night.

The Blues are currently second in the League One table, nine points behind leaders Birmingham City, while Bristol Rovers are 17th, seven points clear of the relegation zone in the third tier of English football.

We say: Wycombe Wanderers 2-1 Bristol Rovers

Bristol Rovers deserve a lot of respect for their recent form, and the visitors are certainly capable of making this a very uncomfortable match for Wycombe. That said, the hosts will be able to call upon the greater quality, and we are expecting Dodds' side to pick up a much-needed three points on Tuesday night.
