Chris Powell "demanding more" from Huddersfield Town players

Chris Powell says that he is seeking three wins on the bounce when Nottingham Forest visit the John Smith's Stadium, having 'demanded more' from his Huddersfield side.

Huddersfield Town manager Chris Powell has insisted that there is still more to come from his side following their recent improved form.

The Terriers have put an end to a six-game winless start to the campaign by winning each of their last two Championship outings.

Having seen Huddersfield climb up the league table, Powell now wants to keep the momentum building when Nottingham Forest visit the John Smith's Stadium this evening.

"Back-to-back wins at any level, and especially in the Championship, are huge and now I'm demanding more," he is quoted as saying by The Huddersfield Daily Examiner.

"I do want a clean sheet from them because, while we've been close already, we haven't yet achieved one and we do have attacking quality, so it can only benefit us. We set up the team slightly differently, but it does give us the opportunity to counter-attack, we've scored some set pieces as well and we need to build on that.

"There are shoots of momentum, for sure, but now I want them to do something we haven't done in just over a year since I've been here, and that's to get three wins in a row. It would be huge for us, but we know it's against a team who have picked up of late."

Huddersfield did the double over Forest last season.
