Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner admits that he is looking forward to pitting his managerial wits against Arsenal manager and "living legend" Arsene Wenger.

Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner has revealed that he is looking forward to pitting his managerial wits against "living legend" Arsene Wenger.

The Terriers face Arsenal away on Wednesday night hoping to put the unlucky 2-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester City behind them.

However, the Gunners have won their last 11 games at the Emirates Stadium - their longest run of successive Premier League wins since leaving Highbury.

"It looks like the chances we have [to beat Arsenal] are not the highest, but when the game starts this doesn't count. It's Arsenal away, a very tough team," Wagner told Sky Sports News.

"Arsene Wenger is a legend who gave football so much and it's exciting to meet him and his team. I meet him for the first time tomorrow. He is a manager legend, a living legend and it's exciting, he has done a lot for football in this country.

"We are very excited about this challenge and will try everything to perform and hopefully get some points."

Huddersfield currently sit in 11th place in the Premier League table.
