Huddersfield Town could potentially storm to the top of the Championship table with a victory over Watford this weekend.

Huddersfield Town will be determined to keep their pressure on Brighton & Hove Albion at the top of the table when they face Watford this weekend.

The Terriers, who sit two points adrift of Gus Poyet's side, will try to close the gap further against the Hornets, who could only grab a point in a 2-2 draw with Bristol City last weekend.

Anthony Gerrard should line up in defence for Simon Grayson's Huddersfield side, while James Vaughan, who is on loan from Norwich City, is likely to start up top for the Terriers.

Meanwhile, Gianfranco Zola has a host of injuries to deal with, which means that Joel Eksrtand and Jonathan Hogg could remain sidelined with illness, while Troy Deeney may be offered a starting spot up front.

Recent form:

Huddersfield: WDWWW
Watford: LLLLD

Possible lineups:

Huddersfield: Smithies; Hunt, Gerrard, Clarke, Dixon; Southern, Clayton, Norwood; Novak, Ward; Vaughan

Watford: Almunia; Cassetti, Nosworthy, Neuton, Pudil; Yeates, Chalobah, Abdi; Murray, Deeney, Vydra

Sports Mole says: 2-0
