Monaco defender Terence Kongolo has reportedly emerged as a loan target for Huddersfield Town.
The Terriers have been one of the surprise packages in this season's Premier League, with the newly-promoted side sitting in 11th place with 23 points from 20 games.
However, head coach David Wagner is looking to strengthen his squad during the January window and according to France Football, Kongolo is on his radar.
During the summer, Monaco spent £11m to sign the 23-year-old from Feyenoord, but the Dutchman has made just six appearances in all competitions during the current campaign.
Four of those outings have come in December, but Wagner is seemingly keen to try to tempt the Ligue 1 outfit into allowing the player to spend the second half of the season in England's top flight.
