Sports Mole previews the FA Cup clash between Hull City and Barnsley.

Hull City host Barnsley in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday as both sides look to progress to the last 16 of the competition.

The Tigers have impressed in the Championship this season and currently sit in third place in the league table, but their form has stuttered in recent weeks, picking up just one win in January so far.

Manager Steve Bruce will be forced into at least one change from last Saturday's 1-1 draw with Peterborough United.

On-loan goalkeeper David Stockdale is cup-tied after he featured in parent club Fulham's tie with Blackpool so Eldin Jakupovic will deputise.

Barnsley have impressed under new manager David Flitcroft in recent weeks, picking up two wins and a draw from their last three matches.

Midfielder Stephen Dawson was substituted early on in last weekend's 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town and he could be replaced by Kelvin Etuhu.

Recent form

Hull City: WDDLWD

Barnsley: LLLWWD

Possible starting lineups:

Hull City: Jakupovic; Rosenior, Chester, McShane, Bruce; Koren, Quinn, Meyler, Simpson, Brady; Proschwitz

Barnsley: Steele; Golbourne, Foster, Cranie, Kennedy; Stones, Etuhu, Perkins, Mellis; Dagnall, Harewood

Sports Mole says: 2-1
