Half-Time Report: Hull on top at the break

Steve Bruce's Hull create the better chances in the opening half but are unable to capitalise against Crystal Palace at the KC Stadium.

Steve Bruce has watched his Hull City side create the better chances but fail to score against Crystal Palace in the opening half at the KC Stadium this evening.

The first chance fell Hull's way in the third minute when Robbie Brady's cross just evaded both Robert Koren and David Meyler.

The hosts were preventing Palace from creating anything while looking dangerous at the other end as Koren nodded just wide of the post from a corner.

The Slovenian midfielder was again at the heart of the action in the 25th minute as he was picked out in the box but managed to lift his shot over the bar from eight yards.
