Team News: Five changes for Everton

Everton make five changes to their side for the New Year's Day clash with Hull City at the KC Stadium.

Roberto Martinez has rung the changes for Everton's game at Hull City today by bringing five fresh faces into his side.

Phil Jagielka has returned to captain the Toffees, while Steven Naismith, Kevin Mirallas, Ross Barkley and Muhamed Besic have also returned to the starting XI.

Arouna Kone continues to keep Romelu Lukaku on the bench following his goal in the 3-2 loss at Newcastle United.

Steve Bruce has also made a number of changes after seeing his side lose 1-0 at home to Leicester City on Sunday.

The Tigers have made four alterations to their side, with James Chester, Abel Hernandez, Nikica Jelavic and Andy Robertson coming in.
