Ipswich Town and Sunderland both want to sign Aberdeen forward Scott Wright, according to a report.

Ipswich Town and Sunderland are both reportedly interested in signing Aberdeen forward Scott Wright.

The 22-year-old, who has scored once in six appearances this season, spent the second half of the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Dundee United, where he managed three goals.

According to The Sun, League One duo Ipswich and Sunderland are both eyeing moves for the former Scotland Under-21 international, who could be available for £500,000.

Wright, who has a contract with Aberdeen until the summer of 2021, has only scored five times in 57 appearances for the Dons in all competitions.

However, it is being reported that Ipswich and Sunderland want the attacker to boost their promotion bids in the second half of the campaign.

The Tractor Boys have taken eight points from their four League One matches this season to sit fifth in the table, while the Black Cats occupy sixth spot with exactly the same record.
